By comparing the objective, empirical indicators regarding Israeli settlement activities in Est Jerusalem during past five years (2006-2011) this presentation aspires to analyze the pace, motivations and impact of Israeli construction in East Jerusalem. We devote special attention to the surge in East Jerusalem settlement activity during the summer and autums of 2011.
